Visiting Lancashire Police Museum

Lancashire Police Museum is in A wing.  There is a board outside the museum showing our entrance.  The ground floor has displays on the nineteenth century prison experience.

Lancashire Police Museum is on the first floor and there are 17 steps.

We have free quizzes available.  A prize is given if the quiz is answered correctly.  The quizzes are available from the reception desk.

There are 16 cells at the museum to visit.  All cells have a name and number, e.g. “Forensics”.

We call the rooms “cells” because they were formerly prison cells.

We recommend that you start at Cell 1 (Early Years).

We are usually very busy during the school holidays, especially half term breaks.
